When backyard gardeners, farmers and livestock owners expressed disappointment two years ago upon the closing of Northampton Agway, Spensley decided there was a specific need nobody was filling and thought the location just off I-91 would be perfect. Opened mid-August, they are selling many of the traditional Agway products for home and garden, farm supplies for the backyard farmer, livestock feed for pigs, horses, cattle and chickens and animal food for dogs, cats, and birds.
